This private experience is built for parents and kids to cook, laugh, and learn together at our organic farm in Taro. Everything is hands-on, interactive, and completely safe for little hands.

You can choose the perfect time for your family schedule:

- Morning Session (With Market Tour): Starts with a walk through a local Balinese market to see real village life. You will pick up fresh ingredients, head to the farm to harvest spices, and cook lunch.

- Afternoon Session: Skips the market and goes straight into a relaxed farm tour. Kids can pick long beans and lemongrass before cooking an early jungle dinner.

- Evening Session: Focuses on a peaceful afternoon on the farm. Your family will cook under the open sky and share a traditional Balinese dinner together.

What your family will love:
Your family gets a private cooking station and a dedicated local chef. Kids love grinding mild spices with the stone mortar, shaping traditional satay on lemongrass sticks, and making sweet coconut desserts. We customize all recipes to be kid-friendly and non-spicy, with full options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and vegans.

Your booking includes a free shuttle from our Ubud meeting point (Pura Dalem Puri), all ingredients, a recipe book, and the full multi-course meal.

Itinerary

Free pickup at the central Ubud Meeting Point (Pura Dalem Puri Peliatan) or Hotel pickup if you book the add-on.

Private walk through the Tegallalang Traditional Market. A great sensory experience for kids to see tropical fruits and local snacks (for Morning Session Only).

Arrival at Taman Dukuh Farm. Welcome Balinese coffee for adults and herbal tea for kids.

Private guided farm tour. Kids get their hands dirty pulling carrots and harvesting fresh ingredients.

Cooking Part I: Kids safely learn to pound mild spices and roll their own spring rolls.

First Break: Sit down together and eat the appetizers you just cooked.

Cooking Part II: Prepare your main courses (like chicken sate and fried rice) and sweet dessert.

Sit down for a private family lunch.

End of class. Shuttle transfer back to central Ubud.

Exclusions

Vegetable Spring Rolls (kids learn to fill and roll their own crispy snacks) and Bergedel Jagung (sweet and savory Balinese corn fritters).

Main Courses:

Sate Lilit (mildly seasoned minced chicken molded onto lemongrass skewers)

Nasi Goreng or Mie Goreng (Indonesia’s classic fried rice or fried noodles with fresh farm vegetables).

Dessert:

Dadar Gulung (green pandan crepes filled with sweet coconut) or Klepon (sweet palm sugar balls).

Free: Up to 7 days before the class starts.

50% Fee: Cancellation 4 to 6 days in advance.
